what was your favorite moment, or favorite part, of your wedding day?
Walking down the aisle with my Father and then seeing the look on Bill’s face.
Our children joining us when we were pronounced husband and wife.
is there anything you wish you had done differently when planning your wedding?
No. Bill and I had the same vision for our wedding day.
which vendor was most important to you when planning your wedding?
Using a wedding planner and communicating with her frequently to review wedding plans.
what was your biggest wedding day savings? (and was it worth it?)
Having the addresses pre-printed on the invitations. It saved a ton of time – Maybe not a lot of money! Absolutely worth it!!!
what was your biggest wedding day splurge? (and was it worth it?)
The food. It was absolutely worth it!
what was the best advice you received when planning your wedding? (and did you listen?)
Enjoy the process. Don’t rush through it. It was great advice Bill and I both followed.
was there anything encountered during wedding planning that was unexpected?
Not really. We had great recommendations and we only had 90 days to plan the wedding!
was there a moment(s) during your wedding day that surprised you?
The emotional impact of seeing so many of our friends and family present to share our wedding day! Some have been in our lives from the beginning of our relationship and others have recently come into our lives. All mean the world to us!
when you look back on your wedding day in 50 years, what do you think you’ll remember most?
Walking down the aisle with my Father. Exchanging vows and our children supporting our union. Family and Friends who joined us. And all of the FUN, FOOD, & FIREWORKS!
