just a lovely group of people!
mary booked this session for herself and her husband, their five year old daughter, maddie, as well as her parents (who just seemed like such fun, loving, happy grandparents to have) and her sister. sadly her sister’s husband was supposed to attend our session as well, but we had to reschedule when it rained and rained all day on our original date, and since this whole bunch is visiting from out of state, he had to return back home the day before our shoot.
i just hate it when people come to visit florida and get rained on! it was a very unusually wet week that they were here and i always have a hard time not feeling personally responsible! strange, but true.
luckily, i think the day we met was a turning point! we had great weather for our session, and although it did start raining again 10 minutes after i left, i think that it cleared up again later that day (in our usual summer-weather fashion) and the next few days were worlds better!
